Again, wondrous!

I feel for you guys. Playing an eight minute 'piece' can kill one's lips, on sax (my instrument). And sax is easier on the lips than trumpet.
The sound is amazing, as always, and I have to say, you've introduced me to yet another fabulous composer. Now I may have to go buy some more classical!

Supporting you wholeheartedly,
RadioactiveRhino.

(Also, ignore the non-believers.)

Fantastic!

Ignore the non-believers. This piece is stupendous, as is the ability of your performers. To have such feeling and sound is amazing! I cannot wait to hear more of the Quintet's music!

It would be nice if the sound was upped a bit, though. It can be a little difficult to hear the low parts at certain points in the piece.

Incredible.

As MJTTOMB said, ignore the non-believer :P
This song is amazing, as is the fact that is a live recording.

Just wow.

I am very astounded.
The use of dynamics is fantastic, and the lic at 1:50-2:00 is quite a feat to be played. Especially on a trombone.
Many, many kudos to you guys.

I would so pay to hear you guys in concert!

Good job on DZ-Remix!

Very nice sound, but the overload of instruments tends to kill my ears.
Just feels like there's too much going on, even if they are in unison.

mechanoid-9 responds:

Heh ^^ I tended to overload all my songs when I was using FL. With Reason I try to keep the sound level as high as possible without making it overwhelming. Thanks for the review.

Very nice!

Instantly downloaded.
I love the contrast the piano brings to the strings and rest. Keep up the good work!

mechanoid-9 responds:

Thanks, will do.

Sounds pretty good

I really enjoyed it, but the strings sound VERY synth.
Perhaps less drums, maybe some horns would help?

mechanoid-9 responds:

Well, it was my first Reason song, I learned the basics of Reason through this. That's why the instruments are a bit noobish; I haven't chosen the best ones, just added the first that I judged fitting, not bothering to find better ones :/ Nowadays I choose my instruments more carefully. Thanks for the review.

Relaxing sighs abound

Sitting on the beach, coconut drink (with draw and umbrella, of course!) in hand, one watches the palms lilt softly in the breeze, and the tide hards the sand for time to come. One revels in the calm atmosphere, but then realizes they are simply sitting in their room, staring at a computer, listening to THIS song!

Don't listen to Dodoman1er...

...because...well...he's a dodo!
You really did nice on this, not often one hears such great 8-bit! The backgrounds really melded well with the melody, but they seemed to rush a little a bit at certain parts. Maybe just clashing with melody, but sounded odd. Regardless, keep up the good work!

EdgeHypermatter responds:

Nah, It did go out of sync... I fixed it though... try it now.

Nice!

I really enjoyed this piece, as it brought back old memories. Good old memories :)
The only thing as far as criticism is that alot of the instruments sounded very similar. Sometimes a bit more variety is appreciated (at least by me), so that one can be able to appreciate all the different layers.

Can't wait for more, RadioactiveRhino!

ZOMGBIE responds:

I'm glad you liked it. I understand what you mean. I kinda wanted to keep a fairly simple instrumentation just to avoid making it sound too cluttered, but your point is well made. I will take that into account on my next one. Thanks for the review!
