I'm quite a fan of your work, as I myself am a saxophonist, and study both classical and jazz. I have to say, this has some nice latin, klezmer, and arabian subtones and feels. Jazz is extremely hard to write well, but you did great!

this is more influenced by Balkanic music, more Romanian, Greek and Bulgarian, the rythm is an old dace in 7.

Much more upbeat than the original! I like it alot!
It was cool how you stayed true to the melody with piano, but added other instruments!

It had some nice sound, but I think it was not any better than the original. The melody instrument was badly chosen. Something less edgy would have worked.

It had some nice lics, but none of them fit at all. The piece had no consistency, and seemed to jump around. Maybe something with a theme, and more coherent next time!

Er, yeah, it was mostly improvised, I guess that's why. I think I was trying to sound like the great late 70s/early 80s SF weirdo spacerock band Chrome. Thanks for the review, though. I do appreciate it.

You have a good thing going, but it gets really repetitive. Try adding some aux percussion, maybe a bass, more guitar lics.
